TEXCEL Solutions BV is a Belgian IT staffing and cyber defence company. This policy explains how we collect, use, and store your personal data when you use our website or engage with our services.

• Employment history and educational background
• IP address, browser type, cookie identifiers, and location data derived from your IP address

How we collect it

We collect personal data in two ways. Directly, when you submit a contact form or job application on this website. Indirectly, from professional platforms including ICTjob, LinkedIn, Monster, Indeed, and Stepstone, when a profile or application is relevant to a vacancy we are filling.

Why we use it

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

• To provide IT staffing and cyber defence services
• To match candidates to relevant vacancies
• To maintain client and candidate relationships
• To respond to enquiries
• For pre-contractual purposes at your request

Lawful basis

We process personal data on the basis of consent, contractual obligation, or legitimate interest, depending on the purpose and context. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us at legal@texcel.be.

How we store it

Your data is stored in Microsoft 365 cloud infrastructure and in a UK-based applicant tracking system operating under the EU-UK adequacy decision. Data is protected by firewalls, access controls, encryption, and internal organisational measures.

How long we keep it

• Data processed for active service delivery: 3 years from the end of the relationship
• Data related to an ongoing professional relationship: 2 years from last contact
• Prospect data: 3 years from last contact

After these periods, data is deleted or anonymised unless we are required by law to retain it longer.

Data sharing

Personal data may be shared with client companies solely for the purpose of a specific placement, and only with the candidate's awareness. We do not share personal data with advertising or marketing partners. We do not sell data.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal@texcel.be.
